It’s been on the list of “things to do” for a while, but once Shania Twain announced her residency at Zappos Theater in Las Vegas was coming to an end, we knew it was time to GO! So, in July 2022 we booked our stay at Planet Hollywood, made our flight arrangements, and we were set to see her for Labor Day weekend 2022 (read about the full #VegasKhaos trip soon) – WOOOO!!
The best part about Zappos Theater is it’s located right inside of Planet Hollywood Hotel and Casino which made it extremely convenient. The second-best thing is the Theater itself. With only 7,000 seats, you can’t really go wrong with any seat. Now keep in mind, this is not your typical stadium concert production. Instead, it is a much more intimate setting with phenomenal visual effects and premium sound quality. My video does not do it justice at all but check out a short recording of a few of her songs along with her NEW SONG on her upcoming album. YES! She said a new album is coming!
My hubby has been a huge concert goer all his life and has attended countless concerts in all sorts of venues. This was his first time in Zappos Theater and his first-time seeing Shania Twain, and he loved every minute of it! At first, he was concerned that our tickets, located in Section 204 Row L, were too far back. But once we took our seats, he was happy. We had a great view of the entire stage and all the action. Although he still insisted that if I had purchased front row seats, Shania would have taken one look at him, plucked him out of the audience, and then try to run off with him …. 🤣🤣🤣 Oh my stomach hurt from laughing so much!
Staying at Planet Hollywood meant it took us less than 10 minutes to leave our room, get downstairs, walk through the casino, scan our tickets, go through security and take our seats. Yes, that fast! Zappos has it all so orderly, it was actually impressive at how organized they had everything. Even leaving the concert was easy! Check out the quick video below of the exit to see what I mean.
You still have a little time left to see her final shows. But if you miss out, hopefully she will have another tour coming with the new album. Shania can definitely still rock the stage and she puts on a fabulous show that is worth seeing. I know I will go again if the opportunity comes up.
