Last weekend’s hustle spilled into my Monday, creating a very khaotic start. Caught up in family visits, I found myself indulging in bad snacks and embracing a bit of laziness, neglecting exercise and activity tracking. It’s a familiar struggle of balancing personal priorities amid a busy schedule, and I acknowledge the need to make self-care a consistent priority. Also,this particular phase of life presents its own set of challenges – insufficient sleep, perpetual low energy, a persistently cranky mood, and a feeling that everything is an uphill battle. I’m reaching out to our readers for advice on how to boost energy, mood, and motivation during these trying times. Your insights and experiences could be invaluable.

Meal Challenges and Setting Boundaries
Recently, well-meaning friends have been providing meals. While their support is appreciated, it brings two very difficult challenges:
- I cannot accurately track the nutrition due to unknown ingredients, and;
- There is often more food than I can consume, leading to overeating.
Setting boundaries and politely declining excess food will be essential to stay aligned with my goals. NO is always a suitable response when you are prioritizing and managing your own health and wellness requirements. With that being said, at this age if I feel like indulging, or blurring the lines, I am going to. I will continue enjoying life and be mindful of moderation.

Check-In: Progress and Goals for the Upcoming Week
Despite the scale showing modest movement, I’m celebrating the small victories in the right direction. Looking ahead, I’m setting new goals for the upcoming week. Adding at least one day of strength training is on the agenda to build muscle, as it’s crucial for fat burning. In my quest for that 30-minute exercise and hitting 15,000 steps daily, I’m all about keeping it real. With a tough work week on the horizon, I’m cutting myself some slack, knowing I’ll navigate it with a mix of hustle and heart. And yeah, I’m fully aware my nutritional and hydration tracking game needs a boost—working on it, one meal and sip at a time. As evident from the charts and visuals, it’s crystal clear that my Sundays and Mondays are crying out for a generous dose of TLC. Here’s to giving it my best shot, even if it comes with a side of “I’ll get there eventually!”
